Geografia and Santiago based startup GeoAnalytics are working on several collaborations in Chile. The first is an application for identifying optimal locations in Santiago for building seniors’ housing; an important tool given the rapid ageing of the country’s population. The second project is an expansion of Geografia’s successful Spendmapp application into Chile, onto Peru and ultimately the rest of South America. Our Geospatial Analyst, Daniel Hernandez is working on both projects and fortunately for us he speaks Spanish as his first language, so we’re sorted for everywhere but Brazil, Suriname and French Guyana (bet you didn’t think of those last two).
