📊 For the first time ever, Spendmapp data was analyzed alongside granular jobs data from Deputy, providing us with unprecedented insights into night-time economy spending and job trends across Australia.
🌃 In New South Wales, our findings revealed a fascinating correlation: for every 10% increase in night-time dining and entertainment spending, there’s a corresponding 6.2% increase in night-time hospitality employment hours. Similarly, in Victoria, we observed a 5.6% increase in night-time hospitality shift work hours for every 10% rise in night-time dining and entertainment spending.
