- Dean is an economist, who started out working for Geografia when a postgrad student at Melbourne University. Fresh from completing a Eric & Wendy Schmidt Data Science for Social Good Fellowship at the University of Chicago, he joined Geografia full time in 2016. Dean leads the data science work for the team. His recent accomplishments include helping to develop a comprehensive online infrastructure demand model for the City of Melbourne, running the Spendmapp development program and writing algorithms to predict driver behaviour for the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria.
